Free Tip: Add a favicon to the address bar of your website
A favicon, or logo in the address bar of your browser, is a great way to customize your website and a way to set it apart from everyone else. It gives your website that extra little special push for your audience. I have put together a tutorial for you to follow, if you want try it for yourself.
Here is a screenshot of the upper-left hand corner of the Tanner Creative website, so you can see what one looks like:

Pretty cool, huh? It isn’t have hard as it may seem. All you need is a little know-how (or a web developer - the cost should be minimal) and some direction.
1) Locate a nicely squared version of your logo. Blank background preferred.
2) Upload it to a free favicon generator. After doing a quick search on google, I found this: http://www.favicon.cc/?action=import_request
3) Save the generated favicon with the name of “favicon.ico” to your “images” directory of where your websites is
4) Place this bit of code in between the <head> and </head> tags of the code at the top of your web page:
<LINK REL=”SHORTCUT ICON” href=”http://www.yourdomain.com/images/favicon.ico” mce_href=”http://www.yourdomain.com/images/favicon.ico”>
That is all there is to it!
