I read a fantastic quote the other day:

“Entrepreneurs will do what no one else is willing to do for a few short years, so they can do what others can’t do for the rest of their lives!”

It is thinking like this that helps us push through to the next level - to make something successful out of nothing.  What it all boils down to, is 2 key ingredients:  passion and commitment.

Passion is what wakes you up in the middle of the night.  It fuels you to get out the pen and paper to start writing notes.  Passion takes your mind off of what you should be doing, and on to what you are passionate about.  The end goal is always in sight, and there is nothing you can do to get it out of your head!

Commitment is what sees you through to the end result.  Without commitment - and we are talking honest, long term, no matter what commitment - your passion could fizzle at any moment.  Commitment is what you bring to the table in order to see the end result. 

Let me expand a bit upon passion, as it is very tricky.  If you haven’t paid attention to passion in the past, let me be the first to tell you:  It can wreak havoc upon you and take you through and emotional roller-coaster to nowhere.  It must be controlled through methodical, well planned commitment.  It is only then, that you will be able to see true, real world results - even throughout the times that you do not want to do anything to move forward to your goal.
